To do so, we are seeking empathetic, dedicated, and dependable individuals to provide thoughtful, positive, professional care to our consumers.

Are you interested in opening your home and heart to a sociable and engaging person with Development/Intellectual Disabilities and a traumatic brain injury (TBI)? We are looking for a gentleman or couple, without children in the household, who will act as a mentor and friend to provide support in accessing their Rutland County community and developing independent living skills.
Experience in providing support with emotion regulation and development of independent living skills is preferred but not required.
Extensive training and support is provided.
Pay range is $24,000 - $30,000, in a tax-free stipend and there are no benefits provided.
There is a Room and Board stipend of $796 per month paid by the consumer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
